The core of TCYA's mission is executed at the local level. Our regional chapters organize consistent, year-round service initiatives designed to address the immediate needs of their neighborhoods. By engaging directly with their local environments, students gain practical experience in civic duty, teamwork, and project management.
Social Services
Addressing food insecurity through regular food bank operations, food distribution drives, and preparing meals at facilities like the Ronald McDonald House.
Eldercare
Fostering intergenerational connections through consistent nursing home visits, providing companionship, and organizing recreational activities for seniors.
Environmental Protection
Taking hands-on action to protect local ecosystems through coordinated community park cleanups, beach cleanups, and local recycling initiatives.
Health Outreach
Assisting in community health by providing logistical support for medical and dental outreach clinics, ensuring safe and organized environments for patients.
